CHRISTMAS SAUERKRAUT SOUP

VIANOČNÁ KAPUSTNICA

Before my mother passed away, she managed to write the family Christmas Sauerkraut Soup Recipe in this cook book and mailed it to me in Canada in 1970. Since then it is our family tradition to make this soup every Christmas here in Canada. I start cooking the soup always few days before Christmas Eve and keep on the stove warmed up for days as this constant heat improves it's taste by the Christmas Eve.
